Trading with borrowed money on an unregulated exchange. Lol. Call the attorney general office in your state and file complaint with the SEC and CFTC. Not that it will help you but maybe the next guy.

    No time stamps. No reconciliation.

I managed reconciliation data for big broker dealers. It’s a big deal.

Rotation out of larger cap and into smaller cap, especially out of tech and into banks and consumer. Why? Tax reform looks like a go.
If this happens, rates should be 'allowed' to drift higher because we have that fiscal bump. Good for banks. Corporate tax rates lower, which helps companies not in the IT sector because they don't pay the minimum 20 or 22% proposed anyway (tax rules and capitalizing and r&d and all that shit). Small cap because domestically focused companies will benefit greatly from the tax cut...multinational/large cap not so much. Consumer because more $ for cap ex from companies and direct consumer tax breaks.

FANG down big today (still way higher than a month ago though because they still make a shitload of money)

Heads up. 1.5% reversal range on the stock futures today with worrying low volume. AMZN was bouncing around $3 on ticks.

I watch APHQF, and they had a recent run....who else? Weed sales via credit cards (crypto?) seems like a lot of $ to be grabbed in fees.

There is a new etf from reality that is going to focus purely on blockchain as well. Not sure it'll it launched yet or not.
What I like about Riot, is that they have acquired majority stakes in early innovators of smart contracts (TESSpay), and blockchain auditable accounting, (verady). So I sort of understand what they are doing (I think I hope) and it is right what I am after. There must be others, but I don't know what they are. I am positive more people will enter the space with a similar model to riot. Need to find them

I was looking at mgti too. Happened across it. I don't see it as a mining play. It's a tech equity firm specializing in crypto

They have John mcafee on their team so it's a fucking gamble as he will either be the rainman or commit multiple homicide

I like it. buying in when my money clears

I’ve never seen spread trading and allocation like this. Big moves across asset classes every day. Watch the dollar for next clue.

Some broker loan rates are so low that using margin costs practically nothing. Also, stocks in a margin account don’t have to be margined.

Will you break that down into jargon for a "some college box exer"? Mainly the last sentence. Thanks.

    might try yahoo finance.

I use them for tracking moving averages on stocks and indexes, I like it and have used it for years; can set it to specific dates(although they'll reset when the page auto refreshes to display new ads; so you gotta know what you're looking for numbers-wize.

Ok, thanks, I will check it out...all though sad day if yahoo is doing anything better than google. Liked how the old google finance allowed for custom compare graphs. Also the way it displayed cost to value in the personal portfolios.

Another topic...thinking about big transfers in the 401k, moving index funds into cd. I'm guessing big crash in 2018, but would be a bummer to miss the big dividend payout from the new tax plan.

Finviz is really nice to scan and reference news & basic value data, it's primarily used as a scanner but has a decent chart function as well.

Rates going up is certainly worth considering, yields are much healthier than 18 months ago.
