Cool TR: Cinco De Pow Pow

Slipped up to Bert with Hev this AM for a little while, it was okay I guess.

I started to have some good vibrations coming into empire:

Of course, by the time I got to the top there was a lot less and a lot fluffier a snow.

Hev, marveling at how crappy this is gonna be.

The top of the mountain was all kinds of socked in with fog, coupled with a pretty solid hangover had me in full on vertigo mode but that’s the way it goes…I guess.

Enough of the talking, Hevinator skiin:

Otherwise, a fully solid Cinco De Mayo pow day, what we skied avg’d between 6-11” of new and picked up a little windskin shortly after we arrived. It wasn’t bonding particularily well to the old snow layers but anything that moved was basically smalltime sluff.

    Cheers.

    Nice LB! Good pics.

Hmmmm....may have to get up early and get some turns at Berthoud before heading to Loveland.

Had a quick rerun today with the whole "boulder sized" posse, and again...it totally didn't suck. Only a few pictures, perhaps hev has more but I only shot in one location and of course...all mine are blurry.

btw, LBIATG that's not me, extremeo downhill skining like I do doesn't ever generate the tailgunning steeze.

Squirrel click here for a sighting of the fogged out ghost.

I think that he might've had my camera briefly causing it to have vapor condensation on the lens, leading to blurriness but here's three quick turns

Yes! El seis de mayo came up big as well. The posse was in full effect, and the snow was excellent.

We must have just missed you today LB. I saw that same train of skiers heading up to Russell right around the same time. Fun day today. The pow was deep and relatively light if you knew where to go. Anywhere from 6"-12".

Excellente! thanks for putting up more pics Hev.

Iski- I pulled the ripcord before the E.Russel lap so might've been gone by the time you got there.
