    I think the point some of us are trying to make is that Davenport is a pro skier, he created the 14er project to promote his pro skiing career, he intended to make at least a little money off of the tour/film, he fucked up by not getting the proper permits first, so why should he expect to get a special, after the fact, deal from the Forest Service?
    It's a harsh lesson to learn, and maybe Dav will do a little more preproduction work in the future. I doubt anyone around here is interested in narcing people out to the Forest Service. The thread on Dav being denied was more of a discussion about when, where and why proffesional filmmakers need permits.
