damn, and here i thought the drama on our (IGN.com) various message boards was out of hand (it's where 12-29 year old dudes argue and flame each other over such important topics as to whether or not the costume in the new Iron Man movie is accurate or not or whether or not the latest Final Fantasy game is really the tits).

i can't help but think of some wise words that were thrown my way at the Mammoth Mini:

"Just shut the f@#k up and ski."

Pretty good mantra to recite several times in the morning and then again after you brush your teeth at night.

that and the simple fact that it's usually not good karma to air one's dirty laundry in public (i.e. personal beefs should be kept to the kitchen).

all that said, hope everything ends up working out for all parties concerned.

    Rock on !

Speaking of Alba, have all y'all seen the new FF trailer?

I asked this girl from Las Llenas what she thinks of PM GEAR and if she'd go down on Splat.

    Her reply:

What's that between your legs, Max? Oh my god you are growing balls!!! Way to stand up for your POV for once, be it right or wrong - it's yours. I don't have the energy, time, or motivation to read through and make a judgment. If you are diggin' DP and not so much PMGear, then buy DP and not PM. Your buy is your vote.

I have a pair of bros. They delammed a little before pat sent them to me which he was very upfront about in a phone call prior to shipping, and they delammed a little on the tails of each when I got them out on the snow a few days. A little epoxy, a clamp for an evening and I couldnt be happier. Who cares if its a "blem" ski or not? It all skis the same once you get some epoxy in there and I couldnt be happier with them. If they delam again, Ill throw some more epoxy in there and that will be that. This is how a ski is made in the first place so it really doesnt bother me at all and shouldnt bother anyone else concerned with skiing and not cosmetics. I have no beef with PM gear and was in mostly the same situation as max was. Lets all do a little less whining and a little more skiing huh?

Which is more important, Gosey, PMGear, or Alba:

    Abla of course:

So let me get this straight:

When K2s, Volkls, Dynastars, etc. make a ski that delams it's a huge problem, which those companies should warranty, and we should all avoid their skis in the future.

And when Jason Levinthal comes on here and cusses out members of this board, he's a horrible evil person and we should never buy Line skis again.

But it's the exact opposite for another company that we all know and love.

    Truth lives in Chicago.

    I could go on....

How is this a Vast Summit County Conspiracy to discredit PMGear?

Whatever Blurred and Pat have against each other should be dealt with off the board. they've both shown their willingness to do otherwise.

regardless. whether or not PMGear is a good and honorable company has very little to do with Summit County posters liking or disliking PM Gear.

That being said. PMGear is apparently the Audi of skis. people on this board are willing to deal with an unbelievable amount of shit from this product. if a pair of Pocket Rockets had these issues there would be a jihad declared against Salomon and its ilk. If Salomon had the product delivery issues PMGear has had you all would be fire bombing the place.

but we all should know the risks/rewards of dealing with PMGear. complaining at this point regarding how you're treated or how the product holds up is disengenious at best.
wow, did a democrat try to buy a car from you today? conspiracy ... wha?

"summit county butt-buddies" = Blurred & Summit. please try not to include others into that group, because nobody else belongs.
