How'd you like your SCUD? Couple of the guys that I work with have them and seem to love them on class IV stuff (one of them also has 1 of 2 ever made pink Mystics). I'd love to have a little quiver boat like that. Just sold my EZ and bought myself a LL CR125, delivered by Woody himself. Too bad I can't paddle for at least another 3 weeks.

Let's see, on the porch: Perception Pirouette [full size], Wave Sport Y for creekin or safety boatin, Riot Ultralight Trixster that's never seen the water [yet], and old Wilderness Systems Fox Kevlar race boat. In Bluff, an ancient Miwok awaiting a San Juan trip...
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

Make sure bliss stick installed the new security bars behind the cockpit with a t-shaped end. bliss sticked had some screwey design that pulled through. My friend had a really leaky mystic and found out the security bar hardware was pulling through the hull.
anyway they warrantied the boat.
It looks like a sweet boat, if it's as durable (heavy) as my Huka it will last forever.Last edited by SuperChief; 05-17-2007 at 09:19 AM.

We just got a Mystic and my friend got a Huka yesterday. Broke them in last night-great boats. The Mystic seemed very dry except the water coming in thru the holes in my skirt. Nice to be able to feel my feet in that boat!
You're gonna love it!
Just for comparison purposes-Mystic/Huka

Picking up a brand new Astro 58 tomorrow.
I am no longer living on borrowed boats. The quiver is complete.

I've been wanting to check that boat out. It looks like Riot finally got around to making the bigger Disco I've been waiting 5 years for!Montani Semper Liberi

Should have been in the NRG this weekend and you'd have had your chance.
Surf and spin is all I can do right now (I dont think a 2/3 loop combo to faceplant counts as anything) but I love this boat. Everyone else was dunking the stern in the real steep "Ender Wave" when spinning....I wasnt.
I got pushed around in the big water compared to the Superstar I was paddling before, but once I started keeping my weight forward I was good. Except for that damn hole in Middle Keeney, almost did a full unintentional back loop
I may be putting on a roll clinic on the Arkansas at the end of the month.

I own a large Flirt. It is a good all around river-play for the small amount of playboating I do. Only complaint I have is that the large is REALLY big and is probably the hardest boat to roll I've ever had.
Cross river is too similar to the flirt. If you are only looking at Liquid Logic you should look at a Remix for a rr/creeker. Awesome boat that works in a lot of applications and is incredibly good natured and easy/fun to paddle.

ah didn't read the part about getting a flirt.
yea you don't want the crossriver then.
but you don't want a lil joe.
its a good boat but you probably want something bigger and better suited for creekier stuff.
