Bags-fork is fealing really good. 5.10s and TLD Lopez's. I've always gone with Roach but the knee didn't stay well and the straps kept ripping off and I'm not much of a seemster. Steaks from Costo but it was on my plate when I got home...I think top sirlon...it was GOOD. Springs are going in the mail today.

There are a few moments that do it for me:

As a born again biker, getting up from a crash. It feels good to know all of your body parts still work.

Lowering my seat before a good decent.

The cruise ride back to the car all short legged from the still lowered seat with a big grin on my face.

I like the start of a good hill on my road bike.

Showering at the beach first thing in the morning after my commute.

^^Pushing the lever on my handlebar and having my seat instantly adjust to exactly what I need while my riding buddies stop, get off, fumble with their seatpost QR, and then pedal uncomfortably home in a too-low seat position after the descent

    I'm so hardcore, I'm gnarcore.

    Joplin? or Maverick?

I am yet to score a Joplin of my own. Pretty sweet to test though. The enginerds are working a pretty cool variation.

Gravity Dropper, 4" with 1" stop. Second season on it, love the thing. Seriously my buddy was hating me the other day on our ride every time he heard the little 'click-slide'. Which was a lot.

    Nice.

Now just to figure out how to put on the leg guards on the fly.

2nd on the last couple of rides before it starts to get dark at 4pm

Also, the first summer back into riding and being able to clean that one section that has kicked my ass all summer, that feeling does it for me for riding.

Also, GH, I think that the leg guards problem was solved in "Iron Man" this summer. I want those...badly. And a seatpost adjuster... Soooo jealous.

Just taken a short ride on these cool fall evenings does it for me, of course that ride was to the liquor store so that might have made it just a little sweeter as well. I finally got back into it this summer and I can't remember why I ever quit the bike thing. That and it's a hell of a lot easier on my body that running every day.

riding in the snow and cold today in pittsburgh.

being challenged by a really easy trail because I couldnt see the roots, and i kept having these hilarious falls as my rear tire just slid out.

snow is damn dun though kinda, super fun to feather the bike though every turn.

Skiing Alta groomers all morning, shredding I Street dirt jumps, perfect dirt, in the afternoon...and buttering the whole line that's been giving me fits for a couple months now.

Of course now they built a huge new line that looks soooo sweet, more to work on.

Rolling fast through a toilet bowl berm, immediately hitting a smooth air and then pedaling out fiercely grinning into the next straight air feeling like fucking clark kent in the spandex suit and cape.

Having a spectacular crash, realizing your fine, and then laughing your ass off at how retardedly awesome that just was.

Getting ride after ride in after you thought the season was over.

Catching folks on the downhills on the SS hardtail knowing you didn't have the skills/balls to lay off the brakes before.

Keeping me distracted from the lack of snow.

    rad dude, well played.

Arty, super bell rung, not seeing straight, but still riding it out like you just had 18 beers thinking "I feel a little weird, but thank god for that full face."
