Mono-tele?
Anyone done this before? A quick search came up empty.
I don't really understand tele anyway but Monotele?
And yeah it's easy to mock what we don't understand, but this guy was ripping pretty hard yesterday one ski free heel.

Haven't done it myself but I heli-skied in Portillo back in 2003 with a guy that was on one of these mono-tele boards. He totally ripped it. He also kept volunteering to go last because he said it didn't matter if you were skiing through tracks on it, which I found funny, because it probably really doesn't matter that much if you ski through a track or two on skis either, but why would you?

I have a regular alpine-mounted side-by-side monoski, but I haven't skied it in a few years. I have actually had a shit-ton of fun on it. They are alot faster than you might think they are, and you look like a pro in the bumps.

tele-skwal ? I don't think there is such a thing.
I vote tele-board.
telerod15, on Epic, is a teleboarder AFAIK.Last edited by philippeR; 03-18-2007 at 03:03 PM.

It was called the eighties, Ford was president, Nixon was in the white house, and FDR was running the country into the ground.

I tried a tele-board probably like 8 or 9 years ago. They had some demos, and it was early season anyway, just groomers, so I gave it a try. Toe side turns felt a lot like a regular tele turn, and the heel side felt pretty much like a snowboard turn. Sorta fun for a day like that, but I didn't go out and buy one, either.
