it sucks when your kids are disappointed. you want them to have what they want, and to get what you feel they deserve. i'm not talking about them being spoiled, just good opportnity, loyal friends, athletic and academic success............its so hard when they get to the age where you cant provide everything for them and they sink or swim on their own.

I just bought 6 Mangoes and 6 Avocados at Wholepaycheck because they had the sime kind of promotion. Mango Salsa and Guac for the NCAA Tournament! YAY.

Damn. If I had a another nickel, I would be able to go downstairs and buy a cold refreshing soda-pop out of the vending machine.

At Big Mtn ( now TrashFish or Blackfish Mtn Resort ) we used to have barley pops in the vending machine at the locker room.

Very nice to get a 50 cent beer after work.

I took Tuesday off (vaca day) to do some t-shirt skiing and enjoy a few parking lot brews. Most people at work know this is why I took the day off and heard me gloat about what a great day it was. Wednesday was rainy and crappy, I worked. Now it's Thursday, sunny out again and I'm home (legitimately) sick. Wonder if there will be any speculation about how I spent the day?

YES! I brought a nickel to work today, so now I have the necessary $1.25 in change in my desk drawer to purchase a cold refreshing beverage out of the Pepsi machine down on the 1st floor.

It was 82 at my place yesterday. The pool was really cold, but I almost dove in anyway. Pleasant spring evenings make me drink too much beer.

Goddamn raccoons are back again! It's time to bust out the heavy artillery.
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.
