I think I need an alarm clock that can be bolted to a wall or something. I have recently been sleeping through my alarm(my cell phone). Upon waking I have found it to be not where I remember leaving it. It seems to sneak off in the night to hide under pillows, mattresses, sometimes it is outside of my room in the hall.
"JONG!!!!!" is the sound a lift tower makes when a gaper runs into it.

Days on snow 2007/2008 season

Not sure I've contributed to this thread already, and too lazy (read stupid) to check...
Spent most of 2 hours this afternoon pounding out the outer bearing races for the main drum bearings on my Maytag Neptune warshin' machine... One of about 5 reasons Maytag was party to a class action law suit that forced them to sell the company (before bankruptcy) a few years ago. The bearings started making some extra noise about 2 years ago? The last 4 months they've been howling like a MFer during the spin cycle; Think "Why is there a freight train hauling ass thru my basement laundry room right now" loud!!!
I've already had to remove and replace/solder 3 main control IC board components (triacs and resistors) TWICE, the wax motor that locks the front door, and the damn flux capacitor... The matching dryer also has issues, I've had to repair the front tub edge where it ground into the adjacent guiding surfaces. Spent 45 minutes or more with a file and progressively more fine sand paper turning a jagged metal edge back to a babies butt smooth edge that wouldn't cut the guide fabric.
Now I'm going to crack a bottle of red wine and go (try) reassemble the whole kit and caboodle... The bearings should be easy, but there is like a six piece "seal kit" with like a 10 page instruction booklet. Not looking forward to that... What is this, the damn space shuttle??? Anyway, thanks "superthread" for letting me share my life's inane struggles with you!!! And for venting that my stupid expensive W/D purchase have caused my cheap ass lots of "hands on appliance repair" opportunities. If some of the best times of my life were skiing the UP in -40 wind chill with nothing but jeans, cotton long johns and a wine flask to keep warm while sleeping in the back of my dad's van... does that make me old school?

7:36 am - I backed into a brand new Saturn at a gas station this morning. Punched a hudge hole in the bumper with my ball hitch.
9:40am - I locked my keys in my office. I broke my office door trying to break into my office. I had to call a locksmith to get into my office, and got assed to the tune of $40.
11:03am - started drinking.Bush got C's.... Obama probably failed lunch
