New Member here! Learn PMTS and become an Expert Skier!
Hello Teton Gravity Forum posters!!!
My name is Harald Harb. One of my students directed me to your message board, suggesting that you are a group of very enthusiastic skiers that may be looking to improve your skiing ablity. You too can become an Expert Skier!
Harb Ski Systems strives to be your one-stop provider for skiing improvement. Whatever your skiing goals, from developing confidence on beginner slopes to skiing all conditions and slopes with speed and efficiency, you need the right technique and equipment. Harb Ski Systems has the information, services, and products that will help you ski better!!!
PMTS Direct Parallel® is unique - it is the only complete, alternative ski teaching system today. Beginning skiers through experts accelerate their improvement by learning and practicing basic movements that lead to expert, parallel skiing, rather than learning obscure skills and discardable maneuvers. All movements taught in PMTS Direct Parallel® help the skier to achieve and maintain balance.
PMTS Direct Parallel® is not a modification of a previous, traditional ski teaching system - it's a completely new system designed for shaped skis. When taking a ski school lesson, you must ask for a PMTS Direct Parallel® lesson or you'll receive some version of the snowplow progression.
Please accept my invitation to review our freely available online training materials, located here, to introduce you to the PMTS system:

We also have our own forums dedicated to the PMTS system, where you can discuss PMTS techniques, learn about ski equipment, and meet other PMTS enthusiasts. Linked here:

If you have video of your skiing, we would be happy to have a look at it and tell you how PMTS could improve your skiing, through the modern wonders of motion analysis. Here are a few examples of ongoing threads about technique improvement through PMTS:

I've been snowplowing big lines for years - french fries as you head for the cliff, pizza on the landing.
Why would I want to change now?

Great thanks, I come from a long nordic and telemarking background so I'm a little unsure as to whether or not your system will be able to help me master a proper parallel turn or not, I have a lot of habits that I'm afraid won't translate well to an alpine/parallel turn paradigm. Also, I wonder how your instructors get around the concessionaire's monopoly at a hill in order to be able to teach budding experts without the express consent of the ski school, I wouldn't want to get in trouble or anything.

Is it Herald or Harold?
Battle lines being drawn, nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong, old people speaking their minds, getting so much resistance from behind.

Hi Harald!
I totally need to get better at this skiing thing. Every day is a struggle for me. I went to a bunch of camps with Gordy Peifer and all he managed to do was confuse the shit out me. I don't know what I'm doing anymore. Not that I did before.
But sadly, I'm really broke right now. So I can't afford any ski lessons. I've always been a firm believer that gear can help you though. I bought a pair of Jordans in 7th grade and I swear I could jump 1 mm higher with those shoes. So if you could just tell me where I could buy your jacket that would be really sweet. Even if it doesn't help me ski better, at least I'll look the part. And I could tell everyone that I'm wearing Harald Harb's jacket!
Thanks!

I predict Mr. Harb will be as effective as AlpineZone.
Actually it's probably the same person.
