    Bandit Man
    mntlion
    ptex1
    Pablo Escobar
    Spinal Tap
    b dubya
    skiman1009
    sethschmautz
    J-Rad

I may have forgotten one or two.

Hev - I received bike shoes before he accepted payment
Lingcod - skis in immaculate condition, met a friend for pickup, and didn't charge me until after the pickup was made
mtskier - hooked me up with rack deals and then held them for me for a couple of weeks until I could arrange a pickup
Hugh Jass - gave a great deal on a Patagonia shell in great (albeit smelly) condition
Schindlerpiste - I'm pretty sure the skis shipped before I paid. I got them ridiculously fast.
5B - for a great hookup on S900 carbon binders
Yossarian - for my first ski purchase from a very cool mag. Made purchasing quick and easy.
GrizzlyFD - for a sweet hookup on Dynafits

Wow. I bought a lot of stuff this year.

Let's see.... I know a lot of these guys have been around for DAYS, but... props, nonetheless:

El Chup - still enjoying the Dos XX Amber?
BSS - drove up to Reno, bindings were in primo condish
Jim S - showed up to my work, cash in hand (fully clothed, thank god.)
    Powstash
Focus - AK's shipped with god knows how much padding and storage wax...
Ptex - well, 'cuz my bank account thanks him, and my skis have always shown up quickly.
Deutschmark - for a sweet hookup on an AT setup in exchange for some tasty brews.
Fritz - for another sweet hookup on a Tele rig that a buddy's using now to learn...
Marshal - for a nice deal on some 20-dins...
Gamma - for that Naxo group buy.
EastVailHucker - for a sick deal on some 'Bents. Skis shipped before check cleared.

I'd also like to thank the academy.

I can't even begin to list all the mags who have hooked me up, but a few standouts would be...

    Yossarian
    Marsholsen
    Mtnlion
    CJ
    Smmokan

plus others that I don't remember off the top of my head.

Edit: How can I forget Splat? Didn't actually deal through gear swap, but he is stand up just the same.

BTW, another one of my large ski transactions was from cj001f - very good guy and gave me a helluva deal. I know he posts under another name now, but he's good people in my book.

I just sold a pair of skis to a new poster (has 3 posts), goes by the name EvolutionKills. I had him send me a check first, which he did promptly. I had the skis boxed up and ready. Got the check, cleared it and sent the skis out. I sent the skis out on a Saturday and he had them in hand the following Monday. It worked out very well and I would certainly do a transaction with him again.

I agree with using caution for new posters, and remember not all of them are bad. We all had a low post count at one point. Except for iceman and Tippster. They were born with like 6,000 posts.

I'd just like to say thanks to the people that made deals with me before I had much of a history here...Gear Swap would be a tough place to become involved in without trust.

I recently did business with 40footer.

He sold me a pair of FKS 185's that were literally used twice for $100. I told him I wouldn't have the money until the end of the week and he shipped them to me before I even paid.

    Stoked.

I'm pretty new to this forum, but was introduced by J-Rad whom I've known for years.

He's not only as trustworthy as they come, he's also the tallest guy I know that can't slam dunk a basketball.

I've had nothing but good experience with Gear Swap - can't remember all the names, but:

Conundrum, hooked me up 195 praxis
JefferyJim, hooked me up 185 praxis and held on to them for a few months 'till I arrived in Canada..
FilthyFrenchBum, bought JJ's old praxis post-upgrade and went without a hitch
Poop*Ghost, flipped me a Barryvox Pulse cheaply
mitch buchannon - shipped an oakley lense quick + cheap
Chris Knight - sent me some P14s uber fast
www.coloradofreeride.com - held on to some P4's all summer for me while I was in the UK when I bought some in their $300 summer sale
Arem86 - hooked me up some P14s without a hitch.
cascadianwarrior - did the holding thing again before I got to Canada, another great seller.

I bought a lot of gear this winter apparently Not had a single problem though - Gear Swap is a great place.

    Repeating many:

Dfinn, MtLion, Ptex, and I bought a pair of Bros from one other person that I have to go back an look up the name. I've also sold and need to look up those names as well but all transactions have been flawless.

    concretejungle
    ECbum
    cj001f

You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?
