NICE! Good to see some heavy crud destroyers in the mix this winter (also Bluehouse Shoots 2900g, 192 Bros around 2600g if you choose the stiff/heavy layup).

endre, when do we get to see SFI 2009? Do we have to wait until November?

I know Splats still working different layups on the Lhasa Pow Brockers,
The carbon fiber pair I made weighed 4lbs 9 ozs. per ski. With a flex similiar to superstiffs underfoot and stiff in the tip.

the manaslu is shocking..... and even though you keep in hand an average dynafit (say, the mustagh ata, or the seven summits) you realize that the manaslu is from another planet

    179cm K2 Pontoon weight
Weight, per ski: 2420g, running length: 69.5cm

    2008 Volkl Sumo weight

175cm: 2170g per ski, running length on chart, page 1

190cm: 2440g per ski, running length is a little less than 150cm
(I measured 151.6 using a driver's license between skis with waists squeezed together, so the card thickness makes the running length appear longer than it really is.)

G3 Ace: year 08/09; length 177cm; nominal width 116-81-104mm, straight out of the box as measured with some commercial postal scales and vernier calipers:

    Left: 1.570kg (115.8-81.0-103.8)
    Right: 1.584kg (115.7-81.0-103.8)
    Total: 3.154kg

...a whole 200g more than the advertised 2.95kg!
