Not sure how useful this is because they're customs, but...

    Folsom Custom 181 Giver (138-110-124)

one ski is 1985g and the other is 1960g (is that unusual?).

Don't know that one, but Powder Mag thinks it's "scary light" according to their 09/10 gear guide.

Moment Bibby Pro, 190cm = 9.8 lbs or 15.5 with Dukes.

Weights reported by ON3P put their construction in the 0.98-1.04 g/cm^2 range. Using that, I get UNOFFICIAL estimates of:

    2154-2286g for 186 Billy Goat
    2038-2163g for 176 Billy Goat

I was finally able to get a 186cm Billy goat weight, and you were damn close.

    2205 grams/ski, 4410 grams/pair.

    Or 4.86 lbs/ski, 9.72 lbs/pair.

edit - do note this is a proto weight, too.

I had/have all of those skis (08/09 S7) and would have bet my left nut the katana's were the heaviest. I guess when I have the kuro's out I don't notice anything, just total bliss. I know the S7 and Kuro have more surface area, but those katanas just felt heavy at all times.

Glad I'm not a betting man.............

    2010 186 Gotama - 10.15lb (pair)

    2010 166 Rossi Voodo Pro BC 110 - 8.15lb (pair)

Each weighed as a pair by hanging via 2 rubber bands from an ultimate digital scale.

Random assortment of weights here, but its what I had in the garage with the Mrs. kitchen scale so sorta accurate?

    173cm Teledaddy's : 1900 gms/ski or about 4lb 3ozs
170cm Chubbs: (Shocker here!) Identical to the teledaddy's!?!?
    181cm Blizzard Titan 9's: 2125gms/ski or about 4lbs 11oz
180cm Pow Plus: Missing lots of base/many binding holes: I think its 2300gms / ski (I will double check this one)
He who has the most fun wins!

    186 Moment Night Trains- 10.8 lbs/pair
186 PM Gear Lhasa Pow Carbons- 8.1 lbs/pair
    190 Moment Ruby- 9.1 lbs/pair

So, unless my scale is wrong, the Night Trains aren't exactly 'scary light', they are pretty much the same as the S7s, although I think they are stiffer than the S7s, whatever that is worth.

Just measured on my scale (accurate to +/-10g)
    Salomon Shogun, 182cm
2090g for one ski, 2150g for the other (wtf?!)
That gives a total of 4240g for the pair. I've seen 4200g listed on several sites.

Rossignol S3, 186cm. 2100g/ski. Relatively light for their size.

Anyone got weights for Fatypus skis?
    D-sender?
    A-llota?
    I-rock?

I've heard they're really light, but a actual number would be nice.

    The Official Ski Weight Thread

I have merged this with my Tech Inquiries thread that I created a long time ago to spread #tech. I dug it up and merged a bunch of the posts so itll be one big happy thread. Got a question? Ask away.
