    186 EHP

Tramdock's website claims this years 4front EHP in 190 weighs 3 lbs per ski, which sounds incredibly light to me. Is this possible? Anyone know what the 186 would come in at?

Sounds like a typo. 4FRNT website says 5 lbs per ski. My notes say 2239g per ski for last year's 190 (4.9 lbs).

4FRNT website says all 3 EHP lengths are 5 lbs per ski. Sounds fishy to me. Starting with 2509g for the 193cm ski, my interpolation by surface area predicts about 2479g per ski (5.4 lbs) for the 186cm length. Just a guess.

    I weighed my EHP 186s at 10 pounds 5 oz for the pair. Only a half-pound more than this year's 180 Verdicts. EHPs + Dynafits = mid-fats + Fritschis

    07/08 data

Endre has produced another ski flex index for 2008, containing a lot of flex information on some of this year's skis, which can be found at http://www.friflyt.no/files/SFI_2008.pdf

Sorry I didn't get a chance to weigh these separately. I used a postage scale for this so it should be pretty close. Weights are per ski:

    195 Praxis + Small Dukes with Brakes = 8 pounds 9 ounces (3882 grams)

    188 Stiff BROs + Comforts with Brakes = 6 pounds 1 ounce (2749 grams)

    Edit 4 - Spats + 900 Solies = 8 pounds 6 ounces

08-09 Stockli Scot Schmidt (186cm), Rossi FKS 18 with 10mm lifters and Atomic FR 120 boots with Zip Fit Liners: 14.5 lbs per ski, or 29lbs for the whole set up.

194 Dynastar XXL with Salomon 900 series racestock bindings, Lange boot with Conformable liners: 15lbs per ski, 30 for the whole set up.

How much do Alpine Trekkers weigh? We don't want our set ups to be too heavy when we tour.

P.S. Nice nerdly boot weight compendium NHTele. I would never have thought to weigh the bontex!!

Here are some more weights of unmounted skis from a digi postal scale (generally accurate within .5oz per my tests). These are a little off from what others have noted, I suspect due to varying accuracies of scales used.

my guess is you won't get much love on this post. but, since you finally posted in the right place, you won't get any hate, at least. Now, a quick search on "obsethed" turned up tons and tons on information on the ski. Not the exact weight, but that it is indeed heavy. Anyway, i highly recommend the search function, along with lurking before posting...

i don't know why i keep giving you guidance, other than that you seem rather young...

Sorry, no offense intended, then or now. You are in the right thread. But, you are going to have a hard time getting anything useful out of this site not knowing english very well. Try reading my above post again...
