Jackson TR 1/29-2/4 with pics...

So I decided since I had a couple days off from school I would go out and visit skijunky and snowrider out in jackson despite the lack of snow out there... First day we hit up teton pass and skied unskiabowl which had some decent snow on north facing slopes which quickly turned into sunbaked crust

Hit up the resort the next day on groomers and the park a bit and had difficulty not fucking up my skis in the woods, found some decent snow in alta chutes, but the depth just wasn't there. really frustrating looking up at all the cliffs/different lines and seeing so much potential but not being able to ski it, I'll definitely have to go back next year when hopefully there is some more snow. So here are some scenic shots, I got some good video that I'll have to post in the near future i just need to edit it... Enjoy...

Thanks to skijunky and snowrider for letting me crash on their couch for a week and showing me a good time, I'll be out again next year if you guys are still living the dream...

Nice pics. A group of my friends and I skied there friday and saturday. Saturday ended up being a pretty decent day after about 3 inches of new snow. Friday was friggin cold, though.

nice photos! i haven't been to the village yet this year, and it amazes me to see the difference between last year and this year. lines like central on cody don't even look skiiable.

nah that was my only day on them when I skied the groomers... luckily skijunky has an arsenal of skis and let me use his head mojo 90's for the week...

Cody is the line that Romer (or someone else) ski-based in Anomaly, right? If it is, then damn- it needs a lot more snow compared to that segment.

yea thats the same line except last year cody peak was a snow field above the cliff, this year its not skiable thus far

Hey, nice TR. I wish there was more snow for ya, but like you said, come back next year. There will be a couch waiting.
