Saw Exodus @ Psycho last summer, they crushed! Did a lot of classics that brought me back to 85, just needed the camo cargos and white nike high tops.

Man it's been a long time since I listened to that. Almost always followed by Shovel headed kill machine.

Some stuff I've been enjoying recently:
Iranian stuff. Can't quite think of who they remind me of.

German nwobhm style music. Good if you like maiden

Kinda similar, but from Vancouver and a bit more speed metal.
    Iceman's favorite band.

And a bit of a weird one to add here, but Patrick Walker from the Doom band Warning released an acoustic album recently. If you like warning the similarities are there.

with trepidation for the impending invasion of Ukraine... some live Ukrainian prog/groove.

i'm not quite a fan but they have some moments of brilliance. the drummer is good and Tatiana is a fuckin mega babe and a pretty ok vocalist imho.

i enjoyed watching the vid of this performance while drinking several saisons tonight.

Testament was fkn tight and with great tones. Bonus of Lombardo filling in on drums. Skolnik is a hero.

The band Havok from Colorado caught my ear lately. No frills no bullshit shreddy thrash. Been playing their albums loud on the house system.

Watch this portion of a 2019 concert:
