    Free cat ride to Tucker...

Anyone checked this out yet at Copper?

    not this season...

last season was pretty good. Depending on snow cover, they will take you all the way out on that ridge. Call me lazy, but when there is a free cat and fresh pow, I was always down last year...

Had a Copper pass last season. I was at Tucker all the time, took the cat one time. I found it easier to just hike the ridge from the top of the lift. Really good stuff back there.

Thanks for the info Pow and BB- haven't had a pass there in a couple of years so I'll have to check it out.

I'm with ya on the lazy part- so if there is a cat I'll ride it. But, if it's a first come- first served shit show, I'ld just rather just hike it.

i rode it once last year
basically right before spring conditions were setting in
i skied right onto the cat
the only wait was 10mins while sitting inside waiting for a full cab

its not always like that though
there's definitely some fun terrain up there between the taco and freemont.

They do a free cat back there now?

Sheeit. When I worked there waaaaaay back in the mid-90's ( ), we had to hike our happy asses back there. Uphill. Both ways.

Was some of the best skiing I've ever had in my life.
