Not the greatest pic, but I like how you can see my track all the way back to the meadow in the top left corner, about half a mile away:

Never posted much in this thread. Funny since the only time I pull out the camera is on the skinner, if I haul it up...

It’s not often that I lead the charge. This morning in turnagain was fun.

Pre-work ski yesterday morning as a tip of the hat to Wray Landon. We still miss you much 9 years later. RIP.

dunno if this counts...milk crate bottom bootpack stoke? Tested out a new milk crate bottom ghetto ascender plate/bungee cord ski drag system up some 35-45 degree terrain the other night. Super stoked 'cause everything worked as advertised...sittin' there smokin' a summit ciggy, reveling in victory. It was pretty damn rewarding to conquer that 850 vert feet of facets over decomposing crust over more facets over another decomposing crust. K2 Darksides in their namesake element.

Not so funny; this night skiing product testing involves some serious bovine incline ...the milk crate bottom ghettoverts were key to opening up a whole new zone that's too steep to access with skins.

I'm calling it the Dairyland Zone.

Shit ya. Anything to stay on top of that decomposing crust. Trying desperately to crawl out of the post hole trench and just punching through the crust and sliding back over and over is frustrating
