Sometimes yer just skinning along in an easy no real thinking required, cozy, quiet, nondescript forest section, mind wandering and thinking happy thoughts. Then a bird sings, or a skier whoops in the distance and you kinda snap back to the present moment and notice, holy shit, it's really beautiful in here. The march sun beams filtering in the through the tree canopy are mellow orange not harsh blue, the light is so nice, the air's dry and warm, yer not sweating, body's feeling strong and efficient, the skins are gliding nicely, yer not backsliding and all feels really really right in the world.
Had to capture the moment.
Master of mediocrity.

We sledded in on Friday, and skied on Saturday. Figured we should get something fun accomplished while conditions while conditions were prime. I’ve not seen the North side, but planted directly below the East side of the Pinnacles years ago, and imagine there’s lots of potential.

Nice, yeah we just snuck it in. Pinnacle range is huge and no one there but heli skiers and the odd snow biker. Close to Vernon too. Will get a TR going once I get my photos done.
Nice work on your day! Was looking over at the goat range on sunday from Mt Ingersoll. Pretty huge!www.skevikskis.com Check em out!

That is an old pic, I remember when he passed through UT and went straight to the most aesthetic line. The video of him exploding in the apron after pretty much straight-lining the whole needle is mind blowing.
Proper skinner, you don't see it much these days, the vert mob usually boots straight up the chute. The traverse above the cliff band always spooks me...

Booter stoke, verts are pretty much the same as skins aren't they?
