I agree with the Lone Mountain Sports recommendation. That being said, there are no standouts that I have found, just a few who understand fit and performance better than the average tourist shops. There are many better fitters littered around CO, SLC, the east, etc...perhaps better enough that if you have real issues and are taking a trip soon, wait.

Ankle bone pain, had my boots ground down twice by local shop, didn't help. Got fitted by another shop by their *best* guy, boots were WAY too small.
With the number of days a year I'm skiing (waves dick) I'm ok with paying full price (gasp) for boots if it means a great fit from a professional bootfitter, just wanted some succes stories while I shop around.

What I liked about Cory at Lone Mountain Sports was how super easy it was to work with him. I have a bunch of foot issues, he really worked with me. The shop is ski-in-ski-out of the Ramcharger Lift. I popped in all season for little tweaks. I am a very satisfied customer. Langes with Intuition Pro Wraps.

better go fisher vaccuume or dodge ski or that other one in slc that does a custom pbax shel.
The grinding is prolly not what you need but a punch prior to a heat mold liner like a luxury intuition.
