Are Look PX Brakes Useable with Pivot Heelpieces?

Title says it all, is there any way to make the new brakes work with the older heelpiece?

    Nope

Sorry man, no such luck...you can order wide brakes for the pivot from Untracked.com though...look here:

So is it possible to put those wide brakes in without taking the whole pivot heelpiece apart? Looking at the wide brake tutorial thread, I'm thinking probably not but any input welcome

to replace the brakes, you unscrew the forward pressure screw at the base of the back of the heel piece, slide that off, put the new brake on, slide the heel back on, then re tighten the screw.

**Talking to Arno. Specifically about pivot series, maybe PX is the same. probably.**

Yeah, they are a lot easier to take out than the P18/FKS style heels, once you get the heelpiece off the plate, they just slide to the side and then off.
