    WTB - Car Top Ski Rack

    I'm looking for a car top ski rack with the necessary attachments to secure it to the factory cross bars on a small SUV. I need to fit 4-5 pairs of midfat skis in the rack, so I would be looking a wider version like the larger Thule or Yakima. Anybody? Thanks....

    i have a yakima powderhound 6 i would sell pretty cheap. You would have to buy the mounts from yakima for your car. Let me know.

    You need a box...for real. The road salt and gunk in MN is murder on bindings. Plus boxes are useful for all sorts of cool stuff.

    Yea, I hear that. Right now, I'm rocking the most homemade, 2x4 construction, sandwhich style rack you've ever seen on an old Jeep. My thoughts for the new rack (rather than the box), was that it would easy to swap vehicle to vehicle, as buddies takes turns driving for our road trips to CO in Jan, Feb, and March.
