Well doesn't that just suck. When I checked earlier this morning they were still going to open. Plakespear left from my place this morning to make some turns.

Hopefully this front coming through will not bring any lake effect to the mountains. I really don't want to ski anymore this season. Seriously, snow sucks.

They're going to be closed on Saturday too. Pretty uch everything in VT is closed right now (although Okemo is rumored to be open).

im sooo glad i made the move for this year. i talked to my ski school supervisor and she said there were 7000 people there thanksgiving weekend..(on bunny buster) all my seasonal working freinds that are up there now are hurting. hope for there sake they get some snow and some work soon. ( o yea i was waist deep at copper today !!!!!!!!!!!!

KnuckleDragger, laseranimal and I hiked up Saturday. Hardly worth the effort for the quality of "snow" up there but it was a nice hike.
We did bring our Avi Bacon just in case the Glades area was going to slide. Heres the view of the snowmaking effort from Racers Edge.
