    Arrow Feel cutty and pasty

    Hello Alta Powder Hounds...

Alta is happy to report that the accumulation from this current storm has given us enough snow to go for a great opening on Saturday, November 18th. We will open for the 2006-07 ski season at 9:15.

To prepare for Opening Day, we have closed the mountain to uphill traffic. No one will be permitted to hike up. This closure will stay in effect through Saturday morning.

If you are a passholder and have not picked up your pass for this season, be aware that there may be a line! Office season pass hours are 7 days/week, 7:30 am- 4:30 pm.

Check alta.com for current snow conditions, forecasts, and mountain cams!

Looks like I will have to find something else to do on Friday. Are there any lifts open in UT right now? Brighton? Park City?

    ack

Well I was going to head up to alta tommarow for there opening but now its saterday. Option two would be ski brighton thurs, solitute friday, and alta sat. The only problem is that I would have to take off work on saterday. Whats going to open at alta? High t??? Is there going to be anything decent at brighton?? Is there enough to ski cardiff or flaggstaff?
    Any feedback would be great

I wouldn't go near the Hight T until it snow a couple more feet...unless you like core shots and all that fun stuff.

We're skiing groomers most the time.

Just wait for more snow to get off trail all the time. It will come.

So, we should all meet sometime on Saturday and ski some groomers together!

How about 10:30 am, Collins (if we all aren't there by opening)

Brighton opened yesterday. I met Rotorhead up there and we kept seeing Endless and GT40 from the lifts but didn't get to say hi. But it was pretty decent when you could avoid the strips of manmade crap in the trees. And crowded at the start when they only had the one lift open - improved a bit when they got the one that goes to the top opened up (Majestic?), but I only got a morning pass so I could go to work. Good to remember how to ski though!

It's opening day - being there at opening should be mandatory.
