    Helly Hansen Props

I am sending props out to Helly for standing behind their product. I had a jacket that was 7 years old. I went to wash it because it was no longer waterproof. When i pulled it from the wash, the mesh liner had totally disintegrated and the all the stitches in one of the zippered pockets had totally fallen apart. Today, after about 3 weeks, i recieved a BRAND new replacement jacket, lighter and better than the one I sent in!!!

Props Helly for standing behind your products

pretty awesome they replaced your jacket. 7 years though.... dude, it's awesome to keep it real and all, but who needs the same jacket for 7 years?

well, if the jacket works and it isn't neon, why worry? it was my lightweight pouch packable jacket (the one that packs into itself). it ROCKED for my fishing pack, took up almost no space and was a great impromptu pillow

nice to hear, my wife just picked up a pair of their kurtz pants tonight. they are spendy, but she has a really hard time finding ski pants. being 6 ft tall, the women's stuff rarely is long enough. and shaped like a girl, the boys stuff doesnt usually fit well in the waist.

I don't think I have seen many zippers on ANY ski brand that weren't YKK, including on the HH gear.

I'd send in my pants from last year, but they'd probably just think someone stuffed a bunch of waterproof confetti into an envelope. The design was great, just poor construction / materials.

Props to Helly Hansen for sending out new gear though.

strange thought, has anyone ever tried to sue YKK for a zipper monopoly. Out of an entire closet of clothes with zippers, I can only find 2 that aren't YKK, and one of them is too small to put any emblem on.
