I had a post up I deleted on the single plankers riding the Bird and then heading up to GMD for beers. I am more a one planker than two and I have done this on one of the UT Minis I organized. We had a good group, and some skiers that prefered Bird over Alta too (not naming names to protect the innocent).
So depending on the Alta vs Basin day on Friday, if Alta wins, then I will be at the Bird as well on my new 163 Solly Forecast. Xmas present I have been staring at in my den now for a few weeks. Can't have till Xmas though.
Edit: TD, yes, got the DVDs. Thanks!!! Will see Flyk Friday and will give him his.Last edited by Buzzworthy; 11-08-2006 at 12:53 PM.

The Snowbird comp is later this year, in March. Alta Friday, Basin Saturday? Solitude Sunday?

I like the sound of this. Fartbagcommando has committed his place for a Superbowl party on Sunday, so Solitude would probably best fit that (for those interested).
IMO, we shouldn't list touring as a scheduled event for any day. If I want to tour, I will, but it'll only be with those I choose to tour with.[This Space For Rent]

Snowbird comp is later this year? SWEET! That means I can plan the mini and compete, oh it was meant to be. Sorry I had flash backs of the old date. Everything stays the same minus watching the comp.

I think the Alta/Snowbird day on Friday sounds like a great idea just to keep everyone involved. I have a Snowbird pass so I will hang there regardless. I will try to make it to as many days as possible. Superbowl after party sounds like a blast.

Please let me know if anyone needs ride's or any type of hook up's. We live in Cedar Hills, which is about 40 min ride to the bird but love to help anyway we can!

So.. This is coming up pretty quick. Any one who still needs -a ride, a place to sleep, etc.- pm me.
Friday night party at skiguide's sweet place. Instead of raffling off shwag I am going to do it differently. Elephant gifts are required by everyone for swap. They must be ski related.
Who is interested in watching the sunday night "bowl" at a house vs. a sports bar?Wrecker of dreams.
