will we have fresh powder when we get there in feb???
/midwest touron gaper voice
it actually looks pretty decent in those fingers shots- not as bad as I'd have thought- but our mtn's good for holding shady stashes like that I guess... pray for snow, seed the clouds, burn some skis or somethin...
finally extracting photos from my cellphone (lateNight beerEnhanced "project")
so here's a TR inside a TR from a fun bridgerish tourday last yr, chronological-mosaic style even...
not meant as a hijack- just a small (BBrelated) fotoTR not worthy of its own thread

just a little psa, you do NOT need a sled to access the Northern Bridgers, even in midwinter. Now I am not gonna tell you exactly how to get there, just know, there is a way, and it is not fairy lake rd. it is only about 3 miles in too.
Slarving for a better tomorrow

While the snowpack has been floundering at super low levels, the snow that is on the ground has actually been skiing pretty well. Cat-like reflexes are required to avoid all the obstacles, kind of a slalom all the time deal.
Met up with Nate and lurker Brad for some ridge hikes, got some nice turns in on the 3rd finger, the apron, and Hidden. Nice to meet ya Brad, let's ski again soon and post up already!
Nate loving his new maroon buddahs
Is this where the sluff pile turns to wind-buffed?
Brad killin' it
Good skiin' on a blue-bird day with no wind, not too shabby. I overheard someone ask Marvin when is it gonna snow, "the sooner the better".
Amen, Marvin, amen.

If by tomorrow morning, you mean noon, then I might be down. I got class till 11:45 I think, and have promised myself I will not miss a single class this semester, and will do good in school and all that shit. Trying to at least start off on the right foot.
Anyways, gimmie a call if you wanna head up.__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ________________
