We watched that at work yesterday. (No shit.) I had a good laugh. It might have to do with the fact that half of the people here are pretty much obsessed with it. They didn't find the show quite so funny. Everyone else thought it was hillarious.
That reminds me of how much happier I have been sinc ekicking videogames. God, what a waste of time.

that game is sooooooooo retarded. Yes its amazing at the depth and time, strategies and thought that goes into implementing the "adventures" that you put your characters through... but after watching my 15 year old little bro waste far too much time on his computer I fear that he too may soon be calling out "MOOOOMMMMMMMM BATHROOM!!!!!"

Cartman fountaining shit all over his mom is destined to be one of the defining moments of Cable Television. My immediate reaction: "...no....way."
Seriously - they might get in trouble for that, since Comedy Central isn't protected from the profanity laws as "pay TV" channels like HBO, Showtime, etc.

Comedy Central could run hard core porn all day if they wanted without any problems from the FCC. They wont because all their advertisers would bail on them. Only the broadcast channels have to worry about the FCC. Thats why the nipple was such a big deal. If it was on ESPN or non broadcast channel the FCC couldn't have done shit about it.

Edited because I was WRONG.
...While there are no FCC rules that apply to content on basic cable networks, because most such networks rely at least partly on advertising revenue, they have buckled to pressure from advertisers to keep their content more in line with that of broadcast TV. Thus, many basic cable networks voluntarily censor their programs, particularly with regard to language and nudity. In recent years though, some basic cable networks have begun to relax their self-imposed restrictions, particularly late at night. Thus, programs like Comedy Central’s South Park often contain content deemed unsuitable for U.S. broadcast TV. Some basic cable networks have also recently aired R-rated movies, uncut, late at night.Last edited by Tippster; 10-06-2006 at 12:31 PM.

"You got uber pwnd."
Not the first horrible shizer scene on South Park. I loved the "biggest loser in the world."You look like I need a drink.

yea, the potty scene cracked me up...though once it went all messy it lost some of the effect of seeing it on a cartoon. always over the top.
that one ranked up there with butters' faked death pig corpse, and butters' finger "taking a dip" into paris hilton while dressed as a puppy (or was it a teddy bear?)
cc/sp could get away with anything so long as it's in the context of a cartoon.
look at what drawn together gets away with...

I'm not sure if I should take offense to that statement or not.
They reran the episode again last night. Funny as hell, and far too true to life (except for maybe the "MOM - BATHROOM!" part).
Immediatey afterwards, I got my roommate and her friend to watch the Leroy Jenkins video. They loved it.

That was too much when Cartman crapped all over his mom and she acted like she dug it!I was like no way I just saw that, did he just crap all over his mom? I can't believe they got away with that! some anti this or that group will shurely complain to the FCC. Funny stuff indeed.

^^^ That is just wrong. Seeing it once is bad, but over and over and over...well, it's not something I want to get used to.
And yes, sorry, my german spelling is not up to gleichheit. You look like I need a drink.
