there's some pretty cool stuff down in Moab. I like all the red rock with the snowy La Sals in the background. Definitely a bunch of cool views off Porcupine Rim (maybe the fear of falling off the really huge cliff that comes within 15 feet of the trail makes the views that much better)

edit: I guess that's only one. Oh fucking well.

Places I've been that just blew me away.

Yosemite- glacier point was amazing. Half-dome, yosemite falls, and much much more all right across the valley.

Monteray Bay area- amazing coast line. Seventeen mile drive was pretty cool to.

The North Face at Seven Springs- not the most breathtaking, but on a clear day you can see the USX tower in Pittsburgh over 50 miles away.

The drive home from up at school- Route 56 as it passes through the Conemough gap just west of Johnstown is a very steep, deep valley carved out by the Little Conemough river. Not very long but impressive none-the-less.

Fallingwater- the house desinged by Frank Lloyd Wright that sits over top of a stream. This place is my dream house.

Emmlenton, Pa- a town on the Allegheny River an hour or two north of Pittsburgh. About five or six miles outside of town the scenery, and the fishing, are awesome. Your in a small valley completly cut off from everything man-made. I have never had a better day fishing.

edit: skidawg, ya the yough is great too, cucumber falls area is my favorite. Fond memorys of that place abound.

Very cool place. You should check out Coral Pink Sands in Utah. Very similar except, unhh, it's pink.

    My picks:

    -Zion National Park
-Moab (Arches & Canyonlands National Parks)
    -Central Cali coast
    -Outer Banks, North Carolina
    -Florida Keys

I still have a lot to see stateside. I could do a pretty nice euro picklist tho!
