Got an email from girlguide/skibee and it sound like mntlion has some pretty serious internal injuries. Sounds like mostly thoracic/abdomenal injuries, definitely requiring surgery to fix. I told her I would pass on anything she needs from any locals thru the tgr board, but I haven't heard back from her.
Damn, I was looking forward to having d and b as houseguests for a while. I'm thinking of you both.

One thing every maggot can do to help is donate blood at your local blood bank. I just donated recently so I hope my blood is helping him right now. If it doesn't go to MtLion it will go to some one else who needs it.

Quick update - he's out of surgery, which apparently went well. skibee is catching a flight to Denver first thing tomorrow morning. Getting from Denver to Grand Junction is still being sorted out.

I spoke to skibee too but maybe after Merlyn's last chat. He's supposed to be OK but question of whether he gets to keep some internal bits. I got her the insurance stuff she needs, he should be covered. B is heading down on a flight tomorrow am and her Father is going too. She sounds pretty up so things must be OK at least.
