TR: Windy Pass - first dump in BC

TR: Windy Pass - first dump in SW BC

Not quite skiing yet but definitely got me stoked but a bike trip over two 2200m/7,000 foot passes with about 30 cms of accumulation at the top.

Teaser for a story I'm writing:

View from 1600m - not that much accumulation yet - it should show Mt Sheba

This should be a view to the Dickson Range

    Here's Windy Pass

and the descent down Windy Pass

Eldorado Creek Cabins where I'll ski-tour this year

Very cool. What tires were you running to avoid sliding out on all that fluff?

dd- i used IRC Mythos 2.1's -the snow was a lot grippier then the soil actually. Was a bit challenging getting going in the knee deep stuff at the top of the passes but was great lower down.

    2nd day on Cluckata Ridge

Vince looking west down the ridgeline - to the left and down 1km vertical is Grant Creek and Iron Pass - to the right down another 1km vertical is Powell Pass and Toss Creek. Further on picture right is Mt Vic - a 3000m peak
