This is Class I data, dumbshit. If you see other skiers on simliar aspects trigger slides, chances are, you're going to do the same.

It sucks b/c people are being told that getting caught in avy's is cool, and easy to walk away from.

In this day and age, where "Just do it" is not only a retired advertising slogan, but a mantra of bravado, you're going to find more and more noobs and ignorant yahoos out there trying to be gnar. People today take for granted the dangers around them. Good health care, cool videos of extreme althletes and ever widening boundries of the impossible are helping to take away the general populace's appreciation of serious situations.
