What are YOU best at???
I got to thinking about how many of the people on here are better skiers than I am. Then I started thinking that there are also people who are better than me at biking, climbing, mountaineering, surfing, writing, cooking, thread cunting...and the list goes on and on. Which got me to wondering if there's something that I'm better at than anybody else here. After a little consideration I figured I can say with a fair bit of certainty that I'm the best at canyoneering. It's what I do for a living, and I love it and know I do it well. I'm in no way bragging, and I really don't want this thread to turn into a dick-waving festival. I'm really just curious to find out what people think their strongest skills are. So, what are you best at?

I'm quite certain that no one here makes a better toasted cheese sandwich than me. Unfortunately, our whole family gave up milk and dairy products last year so we don't eat them anymore, but, man was I good at that...
Also...having sung karaoke in countless bars around the country, and having heard countless others fail to do him justice, I humbly submit that I'm quite certain no one here can mimic Neil Diamond better than me.
BAAAHAHAHAAAHAAAAA!

I am pretty damn good at masturbating.
But so is everyone, and lord knows, I don't care to enter a competition.

There's always someone better than you. No matter what it happens to be. Well, unless you're Feynman or Armstrong or some other freak at the true top of his game. Why worry about it, we're all mediocre.
And I don't think I want to be the best at anything - being elite requires missing out on a lot that life has to offer. Not to mention that aberation at the performance level usually implies other aberation - geniuses are altogether too often clinically insane. Embrace your mediocrity and live a fulfilling life.
Oh, yeah, I'm pretty good at making people think I'm older than I am.Last edited by Sphinx; 09-10-2006 at 10:09 PM.

Well, we already have a few claims for the title of Master Bater, but I agree that a competition would in no way be a good idea. Unless we get some women making that claim, then I think we should definitely organize a comp. I'll judge.

So what if you are the best at mediocrity?

I have yet to taste anything better in any eating establishment.
But I sure would love to do some slot canyon photos some day.

"Jack of all trades, Master of none"
I am good at a lot of things, but great at none of them, I am too busy doing new things to get to wrapped up in any one of them. Sure Lance can ride a bike, but lets see what happens to him in an icey chute.
Oh, and as far as being best at something relative to members of the forum, I'd say I can neuter a cat faster then anybody out there (not much of a claim to fame)

In answer to the question, I am really good at pissing people off right to the verge of guaranteeing they never want to hear my name again and then fixing it somehow.
