Talking Kirkwood - I Know You Got Soul

This arrived in my inbox today...

"Kirkwood Mountain Resort, home to America’s Deepest Snow, is about to build the first slope-side Private Residence Club in the High Sierra - exclusive luxury condominiums with the services and amenities normally found in a five-star hotel. Expedition Lodge – “The New Soul of Kirkwood”

Valet parking and 'owner wine storage.' Now that's soulful.

What? You haven't bought 1/1000th of a unit yet? I'm disappointed in you.

Can we expect another heartfelt apology from Blood Sweat Steel as he attempts to buy into the Soul of Kirkwood?

RE: "Kirkwood Mountain Resort, home to America’s Deepest Snow.”

I guess, “Kirkwood Mountain Resort, we get a shitload of snow, a bit of wind, and not too much rain” didn’t fly with the people in marketing.

I think the "Soul" that they speak of are the souls they have eaten in the last 5 years. I had to sell my soul for a parking spot, so worth for 15th chair!!!

Funny how Roo gets an email about this, while people who grew up skiing there, and have had a season pass for over 15 years are not on the list.

So I'm assuming that this is the Timber Creek project?

Their slogan should be: "bitch better hit Raleys before you get here"

Oh come on. The general store has everything you'll ever need. Fruit, soda, candy, and Pabst tall boys.

And there's always the portabella sandwich at the Wall Bar.

I second that. Then again, maybe they realize I've been staying on the "ghetto" east side of the meadow for over 15 years. Oh well, could make for some eye candy trophy wives wandering around during the spring?

What is the Soul you are looking for?

    All,
I just posted this on the "Kirkwood Sucks" thread so let me ask the same here.

    What do you want?

    1. How can you make a difference?
    2. How can we make a difference?

If there was one thing and one thing only I could do to make your experience better what would it be? Please don't make it a bitch session, be real. We want to make your experience better.
