53 degrees in St Paul today. Had to break out the jeans for the first time since spring. Cold north wind howling too.

Not going to last long but it gets you thinking about it.

It is too soon, we haven't really seen the turn. But it did feel like it last night.

The aspens turning colors are just from lack of water.
    No longer stuck.

I'm getting it, but I don't think it'll be official until the moon blocks the sun.

I am bringing my tomatoes inside here in JH and the fish are starting to act like fall is about here. The turn has happened or is on the cusp here.

I guess location is everything, as we are up at Mammoth for a few days and 48 degrees in the morning is wonderful, but chilly. Finishing my second cup of coffee before taking the pups for their long morning walk.

Saw a couple of Bull Elk in GTNP yesterday. They weren't bugling yet, but the horny ones are coming back down to the valley floor...

The canuckistani geese are flying overhead in a V again. When the Geese have turned around an headed back down south, the turn has happened.
