Disc front
Well,
My front shock blew out completely so I ordered a new one. I thought it was set up for V-brakes...but i was wrong, its set up for disc.
One of my buddies has some disc brakes and wheels laying around that he's going to give me. So I'm going to try to run disc brakes in the front and V brakes in the rear.
Anybody ever seen this done before? I don't want to have nasty endo episodes every time I hit the brakes.
Cheers!

You will be fine.
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.
The things you find on the net.

You should be fine, even if they are hydraulic. It only takes a few minutes to get used to them. I had no trouble adjusting to disc brakes but after using them I love them, especially when it is wet.
