Leatherface is interesting. Saw them get mad at the sound man in Indy once and walk off the stage. Never seen Paint it Black, but I hear they kick ass. A bit jealous of a summer in SoCal (hopefully more like SanDiego than LA, but I have a friend in Venice and that area is sweet), but I'll be in Alaska for a month, so not too jealous.

    bouncing souls tonight...

good week for shows. glad there was no 30 inch storm, or I'd be well into the negatives on money.

FUCK, tonight ruled, Wingnut Dishwasher's Union was so good, I wish i could see pat the bunny sing everyday. he is a super nice guy too. I talked to him pretty extensively the whole night before he went on. Salted Wounds played a super good set as always, fast and super tight. Brook Pridemore (not really punk at all) was way good too, amazing lyrics and songwriting in general. He too was super chill.

    good night in general

pat did a slight revised Wu Tang cover

"Trash rules everything around me. T.R.E.A.M. cause I'm hungry. Gotta gotta eat y'all"

and an unchanged Quiet Riot cover

so fun, such a passionate singer:

Wanna get that Wingnut Dishwasher's Union but not easily available to the UK through the internetz.

Lately I've been checking: Chumbawamba, A Singsong and a Scrap; the latest offering from these old school Leeds anarcho punks, very tuneful and folky but retains the punk fuck the man politics.

Also, The Zounds, Curse of the Zounds, classic stuff from back in the day in a Subhumans / Crass vein.

Got this festival rolling into a town near us, just might have to check it out, only an hour down the road; well apart from mtb, kayak and beer there is fuck all else to do in the summer!

Yep I also reckon Oi Polloi, Dropkicks & Rancid rock

Holy shit cockney rejects, cocksparrer, and the 4 skins on one stage in 2008!!!! I might have to shave my head strap on the Docs and get on a plane. I know I've got some old braces lying around somewhere.

Stoked to see the Damned tonight. I hope Captain Sensible makes fun of Johnny Rotten again. "He's advertising butter!"
