I own that Poison Idea CD. Early 80’s Portland music scene was all time. Wipers, Confidentials, Sado Nation, Rats, so much going on them.

Back in 1979, my neighbors cousin from Australia came to visit for the summer. She turned me onto the Stranglers with a cassette of No more Heroes.
Loved their groove ever since, Dreamtime a favorite for life.

Yesss. I still spin New Day Rising on the turntable once in a while, and I always thought that was one of the coolest album covers. One of the great (first world) tragedies of my life was when my albums got stolen and I lost my copy of "Statues," the first single Husker Du ever released and that I bought like the first day it was available. Just for sentimental reasons I really wish I still had it. I'll have to check out the new Bob Mould.
