Some people showed up at one of those tahoe mountains that's not kirkwood or ends in the phrase "usa"

AKPM came all the way from the 53rd state (or whatever we're on now) as well as hicks who while in Toronto..just figured....you know......I'm on the continent.......I'll swing by the lake....... It was brutal but I loaded up on coffee, made sure the mp3 player was stocked, and started the arduous drive all the way from Kings Beach.

666 decides to lead the way early on and decides to go for a hike on the pct.

Turnout was pretty weak. Only about 20 or so people.........

Eyeballing estelle. If you look in the background, you can see where all the world class skiing is kept.

Basom dropped in first. But he was way too world class for mere digital imagery. So here's one of tyrone shoelaces instead.

Splat pointed out this little drop and asked if I was game. I explained that I separated my shoulder two weeks ago and was a little sketched at the moment. He told me how many times he's broken his back and then sent it. He wins.

Lower down, splat and I eye this line with 666 above us. We explain how he can turn between the two gaps. 666 answers to a lower power and points it. Fire came up out of this hole afterwords and everything started smelling like dog breath..........wierd

We went over to keyhole and basom world classed it again so I missed him. So ty drops in and finds a nice place to hang for a while.

666 jumps in and lands/skewers himself on a dead tree. Ick.

Ty still diggin the scenery. I don't think you can see tahoe from kirkwood. He was fascinated.

Next we hiked over to beaver. Which I must thank alpine meadows for because I got to rename all these pics with things like "kelliebeaver, 666beaver etc."

Basom tries to outclass physics again but I got'em.......sort of. Forgot what he did after this.

Oh yeah. He pointed it down this short little peppered chute at 3000mph. He knows where the tapas are.

AKA decides to hop some lichen.........you know......like 2 milliseconds AFTER I take the pic

I took this sick pic of a big snowball. Some dude named arty screwed it all up by killing the background ambiance.

Right about now, sincure drops in on his toe edge and decides to see how many backflips he can do.

A great day of hiking (with a little skiing thrown in there) was had by all. And I mean all. Can't believe how many people were on the train! Yeah!
Great to meet and ski with ya! I think you should accidentally hang on to your gf's camera for the next season...esp now that 666's lcd is dead.

On a scale of 1 to 10..today was an 11, yes an 11!

AKPM WAS ON THE ALPINE SLOPES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So sick, he gave us the motivation to schralp the ghettos, seeing him on the groomer below us was like seeing a god!

Hicks is from G E R M A N Y. He was in Toronto on BIZINEZZZZZZZZ, took a side trip to "spring ski" and now he's flying to Detroit on a redeye....so core.

Just got back....dropped Hicks off at SFO, got home and my apartment feels like Lucifer's inferno. Also, WTF is up with the 98 F in Sacto? Now I feel lucky we skied today.

while i didn't get to actually "ski" w/ anyone... it was nice to meet a few of the maggots while hangin on the deck. since it *was* Mother's day, my plan was to let Mrs. OHC enjoy most of the morning ripping w/ her friends. next time, i'll get out to ski w/ the maggots...

btw, if anyone is trying to put a face to the name OHC... i was the one w/ the little girls running around on the deck....

I really did try, I promise. By the time I got my camera out at the top of whatever we were hitting, he was already maching down some gnarly line that I didn't even notice enough to point the lens at. He's elusive. I can't hang.

Actually it's "agreement" but we get it. Would have liked to have been out there but the GF wanted to go on a MTB ride in the worst way. Did Corky make it out?
