Season pass prices? (ouch)
Just curious as to what resorts are charging for a season passes (not including employee discounts or hiking for turns -- I do that plenty, too, but I still pony-up for lift-served).
So... what are the pass prices that you're seeing? What are the worst and best deals out there?
Jackson Hole 2005-06:
Full pass, no discount / highest-discount: $1,945 / $1,595
Midweek Pass, no discount / highest-discount: $1,475 / $1,240

heh...summit county seems to be following the rule--for a limited good public good, it's value decreases as more people use it--5-mountain passes are like $380 or something

Squaw =
Full (no discount/best discount): $1,749 / $1,339
Midweek (no discount/best discount): $949 / $849
Other contenders for the highest?
Lowest?

damn, mabye i should plan a month in some other resort, stowe is still 399 for college kids, but for you adults its $1245, jesus, for that money i'd buy a season pass to jay and just pay out the ass for gas
Three fundamentals of every extreme skier, total disregard for personal saftey, amphetamines, and lots and lots of malt liquor......-jack handy

That's what real resorts are charging. Fake resorts like Killington are charging $625 for the "earlybird" gold pass. They have a bronze pass for 3-and-change I think.
You know it's that whole "pay more, ski less" thing they got going on over here on the Ice Coast. It's all the rage!

Alpental Unlimited $279, goes up to $329 after nov 1.
But was $600 back before Booth Creek took over.
But it's a ski area not a "resort". We dernt have no fancy smancy ree sorts rund hare
Edit: I would pay $600 again to keep the extra 50% of the prople off the hill.Move upside and let the man go through...

Deer Valley:
$1,585 for a full-price pass. Yikes!
Aspen:
$1,879 or $1,579 for "super-early"
Steamboat:
$1,450 vs. $950 early
Sun Valley:
$1,875 (or $2,000 w/ nordic access)
Sun Valley could be the winner.

I would have thought that the deer valley pass would be more expansive. What with all their 1000 groomers and all.
