pm schralper or gapertimmy, they probably have the most recent snowpack beta and both have the time to hit the backcountry with you

which sister are you going to hike?

South is the easiest. right now you'd need to sled up to the approach, then the hike is roughly 5 hours to the summit for 4000' of corny descent - Yum

North Sister is gnarly steep but has wicked lines- schralper has hit that

also check out the Tam-McArthur Rim over by Sisters....like a mini-Targhee backside

Paulina could have some fun stuff too, also check www.cascadeclimbers.com

    and don't forget Broken Top.

MBS, specify what kind of touring/skiing/riding you're doing.

Is it to shoot at all? Do you have sleds? How many days do you have?

Details first. Because the variety there is pretty wide...

Snomo + shooting big mountain = Tam, Broken Top, North Sister, Little-AK?
Snomo + shooting mini-golf = South Sister, Broken Top, Ball Butte?
Climbing to ski = South, Middle
Climbing to ski extreme = North

    etc, etc.

Also, some nice lines off Mt. Washington and Three Fingered Jack if you're willing to work for them. Harder than Middle Sis, easier than North Sis.

Watch for later day rockfall on BT, North, Washington, Jack.

If you have the time, I highly recommend an exploration of Tam, as Tap said. Been meaning to do that myself for years, was daydreaming just today about a trip back to OR this spring for that very purpose. Tam = a 3+ mile cirque of 1000' lines with JH/Targhee-like steeps and horizontal cliff bands above a lake. Access is a bit tricky, but hey, that's what an adventure is.

I almost don't want to post this, cause I've been hoping to make good on it for years, and I really don't think many people get in there...

...but now that I live in CO...

Part of the Not So Mellow part (top of Broken Top and South visible behind rim):

Timmay's last visit to the area is here

Also, other old images from Cascade Climbers.com

Main (South) bowl of Broken Top, with a little bit of the W side showing

    Tons of options.

Here's a view of the South Sister from Green Lakes and a just north of Green Lakes taken mid-summer on a bad snow year. Thought it might be helpful for scouting lines from the summit.
