This one by Darb is pretty good.

Looks like Blurred's line and MD9's shot are taking the cake thus far. I'm way too indecisive, so I'll just say that they should both be NOMINATED, though I don't know which should win.

    MD9's is just fackin beautiful
and that ridge climbing shot is BAD ASS.

Not sure this is my absolute favorite of the year, but it's up there.

This shot is something else. I like the contrast between goggles/snow and glove/snow. You can also see the snow rise up and about to be tracked in front of the skier...

Fineline posted this one. It's a snowboarder. I'm not sure I'm ok with that, but it's an awesome photo.

Lonestar took these at Winter Park (Winter Park Goodness thread). They've always been a couple of my favs.

My vote goes to Astropax. Although Kya on the ridge is basically a tie with it for me.

I'm out. I simply cannot choose a favorite amongst these amazing photographs. But this one absolutely gets the "holy shneikes, how is this possible? stop my heart" mentation:

Jim S said it. So much beautiful stuff, each evoking a different emotion.
Categories would heap honor on more maggots.
Compile a list of categories and pick the #1 shot through a poll.
Maybe frozen could make a closed thread out of it in the hall of fame and call it Yearbook or something.
    That'd be a cool.

Actually now that I think about it I dont know why that wasn't obvious. Maybe its because I have a shitty old cheap and scratched polarizer, so the colors are never quite as vivid.
