Tasting notes on the Cloud Drop? The recipe looks good. I've been thinking about doing an IPA with Pilsner and have been into Apollo hops lately.

Chocolate Vanilla Toasted Coconut Porter showdown.

One is home brewed, one is Hodad by Fiddlehead Brewing. But which is which?

Fiddlehead was better. It clearly had more chocolate and coconut flavor than mine. I also liked the ruby red color that came through under a light where mine had a more direct brown/black color.

    But I'll keep trying!

I just ordered $80 worth of hops for my next four brews, an IPA, Barley Wine, Pale Ale and a Saison. Can't wait to get these in my belly.

The fellows at BYO had a bunch of this left over from a conference, so we turned it into next month’s meeting. Each member is to use it in a brew and then bring to share.

Mine is going in a stove-top 1 gallon batch of a Gose. Hoping the acidulated malt will make it tart enough.

    Kettle sour FTW!

Never used passion fruit in a beer, I have had mixed results with puree.

I would not hesitate to add it to a wheat beer.

    Anyone using Beersmith?

    How do you like it?

Probably gonna get it for myself and my buddy wants it for the micro.
