They usually don't lock up like this long enough for a pic. Good tug stalemate last night.

Doggie stoke
Here's a funny thing my dog has been doing- eating a little bit more of my pumpkins face off everyday
Noticed the mid-face missing
Then a little more
I used to feed him pumpkin when he was a pup bc he had a hollow leg about food - guess he liked it!
Here's chking out the new snow the other day too - so stoked even as an oldie

Campfires or Saturday night parties, he thinks he's a human around groups. And he wants attention gentle as they come with zero aggression towards people. He will nibble on yer beard though if you get him riled up

Not my pooch, but camped out with her for a weekend this spring just north of Moab. A freak at camp, running around night and day for seemingly no reason...but took the descent like a champ. Calmer than a couple of the guys that were out for their first time
She was a little squirrely when her feet first left the ground, but otherwise cool as a cucumber

K with her new Rex Specs....she is part GSD and is getting pannus in her eyes...they get super bloodshot out in the sun with freshly fallen snow and a little bit of scarring on the sides. She hates them! Breaking them in with the lenses out on early morning runs...no tantrums for the first 3 miles this AM...

So I have a question for those who have had a dog and got another later in its life. My roommates dog is around 8, always was super stoked on fetch, came when it was called, listened. So I got a collie lab mix from the shelter about three months ago and she just turned one. Both seemed to get along just fine, no fighting or anything and respected each other's space. Jack, the older pooch, has never been a fan of other dogs but tolerates them. Recently, he has been acting super weird. Yelping or crying when someone opens a door, stands up, or sometimes just petting him. I think it's psychological as I've applied pressure to different parts of his body with the same results. Roommate says he's gonna take him to the vet if he doesn't get better but his behavior has changed as well. He doesn't come when called, won't bring his ball back playing fetch, and is always seeking attention when in the past he enjoyed being by himself. Kinda adopting the behaviors of my dog Roka, who I'm still training but loves attention and isn't the best at bringing her frisbee back yet. Any thoughts? I take them out on walks and play fetch with them together regularly. Jack isn't limping, and besides the random welp/whimper seems pain free. Roka does now try and play with him, honestly I think jack just doesn't understand it and Roka just ends up licking his ear for a good minute which is pretty funny. Any advice is appreciated,

We had to put one of our dogs down in July and our other dog, Cody, a 9 year old lab mix, has been super clingy, cries a little if we seem to be leaving the house, definitely a slight change in behavior. We're in the process of adopting another dog, foster family is bringing her over this afternoon. Fingers crossed. Good luck with figuring out Jack, as long as he's physically OK, just keep him in the loop and give him attention, so he doesn't feel like he's getting bumped.
Silent....but shredly.

our local newfie was taking itself for a walk in my hood during twlight a few weeks ago. my observations from a far (a few 100 feet away): holy shit, there's our bear (we have a local that i haven't seen except for its messy evidence; wtf is that woman doing running towards it!; o shit, it's charging her!; <they snuggle>; o, it's just the newfie....
