Murphy turned 10 in April
But still has the drive of a 3 year old
He came up limping about a week ago after chasing his ball. He was heavily favoring his front right leg for a few days, which I hadn't seem him do in a long time. It got me thinking back to when he was 5 and I cut him with my ski edge deep in the backcountry. After I carried him out on my shoulders, he got 5 internal stitches on a tendon and 10 on the outside...same leg. I can't help but feel some guilt in potentially causing him long term damage. That was the last time I took him skiing.
It also got me thinking that the toughest years with Murphy lay directly ahead. He has the drive, passion, and desire to charge like a 3 year old dog, but his 10 year old body is starting to show some signs of wear. My biggest fear is that he will continue to want to play hard, but either can't or does and injures himself as a result. For now, I'm stoked I can still get him out to do what he loves most.

^^^^That is such an interesting looking breed. I never did figure out how they breed that head onto a pup.
LLS, buy Walter some antlers. When my two were young that was their favorite chew toy. It was amazing how they could demolish hard antler and was certainly better for them than wood.

He definitely has some antlers. We try not to let him eat wood too often. He got his first real swim yesterday. He also likes to drive.

It would be funny if your whip was a Cooper Mini.
