9-10. He’s getting on a bit. ETA: I posted upthread about his foot/leg, and am relieved to report that it’s getting better day by day. He’s on some puppy pain relievers and we’re making him take it as easy as we can.

Our best guess is Siberian husky/Australian shepherd mix, but not super high confidence there. What’s yours?

Here are a few of our psycho….rescued at 6 months (returned to breeder since his original family said he was untrainable and too aggressive…). He has been a challenge but has also been a great addition.

Beautiful, and worth the patience. A special breed for sure, definitely not for everybody.

Dark and brindle. Typical of working lines, so that’s what I’m thinking on breeding. Can be a challenge. Great dogs though. I’m on GSD #4, and my last one was a rescue that was a working lines dog. She was initially tough, very headstrong, but once bonded, a sweetheart. And agree with Jax, beautiful dog.

Thanks. He is our 3rd GSD, 2nd working line, and the most challenging so far (was honestly blown away by how hard headed he was initially). But over the last few months he has really come around and become a part of the family. They are definitely a special breed that needs to be challenged and worked, but once bonded, they will do anything for you.

Maisie is just over a year. Catahoula and 1/4 border collie, 1/4 white Shepherd.
Yeah, I could believe your pup is husky/Aussie.Looks like a great doggy. Our little Maisie is 4 days post TPLO surgery. Poor little thing. She seems to be doing pretty good though.

What a gorgeous boy. We love GSD's but the work needed to get some on board with the pack are more than I have in me these days. Our Gunther is an American Alsatian that we got at 10 months old and he was nutz. Thank god Tammy was able to socialize him with her pack, as after a few months of being with her a few days a week he was perfect.
Our next GSD will be a Shiloh Shepard, as they are very chill 'family dogs" from day 1 and just majestic animals.

Nice looking pups. Just looked up Shiloh shepherds, look like great dogs…and big. One article said 120-160 lbs for a male.

Not enough fur on him. The guy could use a jacket and booties for sure.

There are so many here that it wouldn't take much effort to see one in person every single day.

cross-post from the view thread. The first three pics are within walking distance from downtown

Pretty sure Spider is a Malamute from a working dog line. In other words the last thing he needs is a jacket and booties.
