Peeper, one of our two 17yo cats has cancer... and is not long for this world. Best cat ever, used to great me at the door like a dog every day. Never bit or scratched anyone... even the obnoxious dog.

Chester (our dog) would normally have a fit that he was on his bed, but he's been so nice to him, licking his head and laying next to him. I really think he knows his bro is sick. Anyhow, sorry for the buzzkill, but I am happy to see the sweetness.

I have a 17 year old cat who’s fighting hyperthyroidism and heart failure.
She too is the best cat ever.
She used to greet me at the door recognizing my footsteps.
Never ruined any furniture, nailed anybody, never even hissed at anything.

Sister’s (the best black cat ever) heart failure is caused by hyperthyroidism.
She nearly died from a heart attack 5 months and $9,000 dollars ago.
Luckily, I got her insurance right before her age cut (12 years for feline) which’s been helping us a great deal.
