Shitface finally went for it and picked up one of his toys she'd claimed. She doesn't give a shit if he takes them back, but he was convinced he'd die trying

    She's adjusted very quickly

Strongest begging game. The second, a standard poodle named Watson is peaking on the side. He’s more of a if something drops I can get it. The doodle is more of a shove your arm to side and take what he wants. At 115lbs of furry kindness he gets what he wants regardless.

We lost our 14 yr old black lab Yoshi last month, and we've never been a one-dog house, so we're starting the process of finding the newest member of our family. My wife is on the board for the local lab rescue, so right now we're fostering a 1-1/2 yr old female yellow lab named Willow. She was a stray outside of SLC, and the owner "couldn't afford" the fee to recover her from the shelter so she was just left there alone. She's super sweet and our chocolate lab, Avery, loves her so far. She's about 10 lbs underweight, but a little playtime, long walks, and some extra food will fix that.

    Doggie stoke

Shitface and Rosie have lived together for a week now. Lots of changes in Shitface's life...

Day 1...she takes all his toys and he's afraid to go within 15 feet of her. He won't eat and she won't let him anyway. He won't drink water with her in the room

A week later and they're eating and drinking together, separately but in close proximity...walking side by side, and playing A LOT.

Shitface doesn't really know how to play, but he's trying to figure it out.

They're both really tolerant of each other. She's only a year old so she gets fired up when it's go time. He never nips at her. Then he tries to play back but gets frustrated cause he's retarded...then sounds like an entire pack of wolves snarling at her to back off. She doesn't even flinch...never gets aggressive back at him.

She is young, seems like she had it rough before, definitely had no discipline before, and is strong as a fucking bull. She's 4 inches shorter and 2 lbs lighter than Shitface. She has twice the strength and it's like petting a rock. Just a beast. Suuuper sweet though. Incredibly smart and very trainable. She's learning a lot.

I walk these assholes 2.5 miles every MFing day. They're super mellow and wonderful on the walk...Then they walk in the door and start playing for 2 hrs.

Holy fuck it's like another kid but worth it. Probably putting her through obedience school with my wife. I'm a bit of a dog whisperer so it would help the wife a ton too.

Willow is up for adoption through Safe Harbor, but already has multiple interested applicants.... otherwise I would ask if anyone here is interested in adopting her. She's SUCH a sweet, mellow dog for a 1-1/2 yr old lab. And super cute too.

Too funny. I walk Baxter about 2 miles in the morning and 3 at night. Perfect gentleman on the way out. Instant we turn around he goes apeshit jumping and running. Once I get him in the house (read: drag him in) he flops right over for a nap.

Nice I'm going to start a morning walk too...they need it

I do different routes all the time to see how they behave on each street. Some they're fine and some they sniff like crazy down the entire road. After I figure out they sniffing like crazy on a part street all the time I avoid it

Rosie had her first day of obedience school today. She's been lights out ever since coming home 2 hours ago.

It's one on one with the instructor and her boxer. Rosie is a model student...instructor loves her

She's doing really well adjusting to her new surroundings

I've had Saints. Both were pretty aggressive but extremely protective of loved ones.

    Jed was a warrior.

My brothers Newf was retarded I think. Sweet dog though.

Suzy is my first Bloodhound. She is kind of weird. Im getting another Saint once the weather cools.
