Thanks y’all, I’m very lucky to have my pups and especially for as long as I’ve had Connor. He’s veryspry for 16. Still greets me with a bunch of bouncing around and Border Collie “play” poses when I come in each evening from work. Can still go on walks, but they’re slow, and stairs are a bit much beyond 5 or 6 big ones, but damn if he isn’t still 100% in the game.

Can’t jump up into bed anymore but still manages to find his way right next to my side of the bed every single night which means more than he’ll ever know.
I still call it The Jake.

Today is also Bella Serra’s 16th birthday.
Her back legs are slowing her down a bunch. She will not be going skiing with me anymore. But she is still overflowing with love.

    Salute, Bella Serra!

Who’d a thought two mag dogs turning 16 on the same day?

I’d say that’s more than enough reason to celebrate!

    Cheers!

Meeko was stoked for the outing but probably wishes I'd done a better job getting my money's worth from the uphill pass this year.Click image for larger version.

What a beautiful lady. Love the greyed muzzle. Something so very special about old dogs.

    Border Collies?

Our Spartacus will be 14 this summer, and plays with our 7 month Scottie like they’re both kids. Hopefully have a few good years left with him, but might be looking for a breeder referral eventually.

Good looking dogs you have there. Connor does not look 16!

The red dogs do seem to get grey in the face pretty early. Ho, ho, ho!

    Doggie stoke

This is Curious George, our recent rescue. He’s a greyhound/Labrador mix (greydor); he’s super calm, and extremely inquisitive. He pokes his nose into everything. We call him our Helper Monkey. He’s also the only dog I’ve ever had who gives no shits about vacuum cleaners.
