Routine check up resulted in finding a tumor on my guys bladder. Surgery was kind of brutal. Huge incision, and the mass was the size of a tennis ball.
Didnt get any sleep last night.
He is resting now. PIx is from last night when i picked him up.

You'd think they would end up bald at some point with the amount of hair that comes off of them...

Everytime Shitface comes back inside after taking a dump he grabs a mouthful of food, speeds off, drops it somewhere, then eats it a minute later.
Strange ritualIf it's green, smoke it...if it's pink, poke it

Was out of the country for a couple of weeks and my wife's dog was staying with her ex-husband (they share custody). When we got back he told her that the dog was "limping a bit" after a backpacking trip. She picked him up yesterday and the description was a bit of a understatement. The dog could barely stand after his first significant hike of the season, a three-day trip with 30 miles on the last day over rock and snow in the Uintas. Paws completely shredded, he was refusing to put any weight one one of them. The vet removed 90% of the torn pads, he was basically walking on exposed skin. He's stuck with the bandages for 2 weeks then has to take it slow for a while. He's bummed. The ex is convinced his 9 y/o 90 lbs dog is still an invincible puppy. Takes him BC skiing, backpacking, he ends up at the vet every time we get him back. Sigh...
